Why we do this work...

Promoting Literacy & Education World-Wide!

recent programs

Our outreach program in Chicago recently connected several high school seniors to long-term mentors in their desired fields and access to additional scholarship opportunities.

Fitzgerald Craan
Our Chief Financial Officer spends his free time assisting in overseas missions in Haiti and in anti-violence initiatives in Chicago, IL.

As an educator and change agent, I have been fortunate enough to meet outstanding young people filled with promise and purpose. I have also watched a number of these beautiful and deserving souls be lost to death, incarceration, and the despair that accompanies the lack of access to education and economic equality. I believe that we are all called to not only bear witness and tell the tale, but to author a new reality.

advocacy in action

Dr. Judith Blakely
Our Board President makes sure that our education initiatives are directed were there is the most need, are sound, and make the most impact in the lives of those we serve.

mission & vision

No need is too small and no voice is too quiet to be heard. We will devote the time and energy necessary to revitalize, educate, and advocate for those in need.

Our volunteers make the difference between servicing or not servicing communities who need our help each year. Find out how to become our partner.
